South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper recently published an article that stated the iPhone 5 will be releasing this October and cites the head of human resources for Foxconn as its source.
The Foxconn factory in Taiyuan is currently hiring a large number of workers supposedly to assemble the iPhone 5. A Maeil Business Newspaper reporter called the factory in Taiyuan and talked to the HR head.
“Yes, it’s true we are hiring a large number of workers,” the HR head said. He was then asked about the phone’s release date in which he replied, “We just got the order. It [the release] will be around October.”
Thanks, Kotaku.
