Crytek has officially announced Crysis 3 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will be releasing in 2013.
Players will be taking on the role of Prophet in the year 2047 as he returns to New York only to find the whole city encased in a Nanodome by Cell Corporation. The city has become a dangerous rainforest teeming with both human and alien Ceph enemies.
The New York City Liberty Dome will feature seven distinct environments that are known as the Seven Wonders. Bringing back the signature sandbox style gameplay, and of course the Nanosuits; the game will be introducing a whole new composite bow as a weapon.
Pre-orders are officially opened from today for the Crysis 3: Hunter Edition which gives early access to the new signature bow and its attachments, plus the Hunter Nanosuit module. Those that pre-order the game will also get a bonus XP boost up to level 5, a unique bow skin and three exclusive dog tags for multiplayer.
