iphone 5 production picture leaked 300x205 Rumour Mill iPhone 5 ready for production, possible summer launch

A Foxconn employee recently leaked details on Apple’s next iPhone to 9to5mac.

It is believed to have a 4inch or larger display made by LG and is not the previously rumoured teardrop shape but rather it will be symmetrical.

Among the samples, none of them have the iPhone 4/4s form factor and none of them are in the final stage so changes are still very likely to be made.

It usually takes Apple five months from production to launching and this is the same source from last year that said the iPhone 5 was not being made for 2011.

iPhone Dev Team officially announced the availability of the jailbreak and stated the solution for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is close to completion for a widespread release.

The prominent group of iPhone developers mention that it has taken the collective efforts of pod2g, the Chronic Dev Team and their own team to create the new jailbreak, and that all difficulties have now been solved.

pod2g wrote in his blog post: “I know the wait was long, too much long, but it’s about to end! You’d be able to free your iPhone in some hours.”

Camera-Less iPhone 4S in Singapore

Cameraless iPhone 4s Camera Less iPhone 4S in Singapore

As much as Apple love the new eight megapixel camera in the iPhone 4S, it looks like Singapore based carrier, M1 is offering the iPhone 4S to their customer  with the camera fully stripped out.

Apparently, the camera-less iPhone 4S is designed for army members. They are refrained from using devices with image capturing capabilities at their base.

M1 has listed the camera-less iPhone 64GB 4S’s price and believe it or not, it is higher than a standard version of iPhone 64GB 4S (with camera).

From my observation, camera-less 4s is just a modified 4s from NonCam, as NonCam is based in Singapore. Maybe true, maybe not. If it is true, you will get a non-camera iPhone 4S back assembly, a screwdiver, non-camera box label matching your 4S’ serial number and a certificate of camera disablement.

iPhone 4S Launch Goes Crazy In China

Beijing iPhone 4S Craze 300x200 iPhone 4S Launch Goes Crazy In China

Like most of Apple product launches anywhere in the world, the long queues are a must.

In China, both Apple fans and scalpers queue in line to get their hands on the iPhone 4S. Scalpers also fought to get their hands on as many iPhone 4S as possible. The police came and the Apple store has said to have closed its doors to make the crowd leave.

No major injuries were reported.

In my opinion, they should limit the number of units a person can buy so that everyone that is queueing can only buy one phone per entry. Huh, I hate scalpers.
